First Edition Harry Potter Sorcerer's Stone?

I am trying to find out if my copy of the Sorcerer's Stone is a first edition.

Printed: in the U.S.A. 23
First American Edition, October 1998

Spine: top reads J.K.
Rowling

Bottom has a little house with no number inside

Hard cover is purple/red with diamond shapes

Back of book jacket: top reads: "Harry Potter
could assume the same near-legendary status as
Roald Dahl's Charlie, of chocolate factory fame."

Lower left corner on back jacket: cream colored bar code with 51695 above small bar code

Front of book jacket: all gold lettering is raised

Is this a first edition?

I was wondering if you were selling your first book and if you also had the 2nd and 3rd ones available? I've been trying to rebuild my collection since mine was lost but they're so expensive now online since everyone thinks theirs are worth more than they are. :( some girl tried selling me a coffee stained book 6 for $200. I said, nope. Looking elsewhere.

Hiya, was wondering if you are selling any Harry Potter books? Would be interested for my personal collection. Thanks, Becky
